Dr. Albert W. Parulis, D.M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Parulis received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Gettysburg College, where he was a 4-year member of the football team.

He received his DMD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, on a Navy scholarship. Upon entering active duty, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Parulis was then stationed aboard the USS Tortuga LSD 46, deploying to the Mediterranean during the Bosnian conflict and the coast of Africa. Finishing his deployment, he then completed his surgery residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.

Upon completion, he again deployed aboard the USS Ronald Reagan CVN 76 and finished his Naval obligations serving as a staff surgeon at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. After Honorable Discharge, he joined Roanoke Oral Surgery, where he has practiced for almost 20 years.

Dr. Parulis is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Cleft and Craniofacial team at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Dr. Parulis practices a full scope of procedures to include dental implants and bone grafting, full arch dental rehabilitation utilizing digital technology, Wisdom teeth removal and Craniofacial Surgery. He and his wife, Lisa have two daughters, Cassi and Gabbi.
