WHAT IS A SINGLE OR MULTIPLE TOOTH EXTRACTION?

Removing Problematic Teeth

Erupted teeth need to be extracted for a variety of reasons including cavities, gum disease, infection, pathology, trauma, or for orthodontic or growth purposes.

If numerous teeth require extraction, a consultation may be indicated prior to the procedure.

Teeth Removal Process

Based on your individual case, single tooth extractions can normally be performed on the day of consultation with local anesthesia. If your health history requires presurgical intervention, such as, modification of medications or discontinuing blood thinners, your surgery will be scheduled following your initial consultation.

If IV anesthesia is indicated or desired, or numerous teeth require extraction, your surgery will be scheduled following your initial consultation.
